The Saucy Sisters held their 2nd Annual Charity Auction Dinner on Saturday, May 14th, 2011. The theme for the dinner was “A Night in Tuscany”. The dinner was an Italian themed 6 course dinner, with each course paired with wine from our local wineries. Donations of wine were made by Vino Noceto Winery, Dillian Wines, Terre Rouge/Easton Wines, Amador Foothill Winery and Cooper Vineyard. We are so fortunate to have these wonderful wineries at our doorstep and we greatly appreciate their donations. Thank you so much, to the people that purchased this wonderful dinner. These 5 couples enjoyed an evening of indulgence and an unforgettable gourmet dinner prepared by the Saucy Sisters. Several guests said that they can’t wait to bid on the next auction dinner, which is a true indication that the dinner was a huge success and that the bidding for next year’s dinner will be the highlight of our December Newcomers meeting. Proceeds from this dinner go to our club’s charity that was voted for by the club members. The charity chosen for the “A Night in Tuscany” dinner was Tri-County Wildlife Care. The Saucy Sisters are honored that they can make a contribution to the Newcomers charity and be a part of this wonderful evening of food, fun and friendship!
